We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager to join our team! As our first product marketer, you’ll have a major impact in driving the adoption of new cutting-edge products that power dealmaking. We’re looking for an ambitious subject matter expert who intimately understands our target audience. This is a high-impact role that works directly with our founders and collaborates with nearly every team at Grata.
Grata is a hybrid company, which means our employees work from our NYC office (near Bryant Park) on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.
At Grata, we will expect you to:
- Collaborate with product management to define the go-to-market strategy for new product releases and updates. Create detailed launch plans that encompass product features, target audience, pricing, distribution channels, and promotion strategy.
- Act as the internal voice of our audience. Determine a clear and compelling product positioning and messaging framework that effectively communicates the value proposition of Grata to all customer segments.
- Build and own a program that effectively drives customer adoption and overall product usage.
- Equip the commercial teams (Sales & Relationship Management) with the necessary tools and resources to sell Grata effectively. Develop sales presentations, battle cards, and training materials that improve sales and retention outcomes.
- Maintain a pulse on the competitive landscape. Be ready to produce and update competitive collateral quickly and recommend improvements to Grata’s competitive posture in a dynamic market.
What we are looking for:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an investment banking, private equity, or corporate development role. Experience using Grata is strongly preferred but not required.
- You’re an excellent communicator. You can build high-quality, high-impact client-facing decks. You possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills and can demonstrate the ability to create customer-facing content and messaging that resonates.
- Proven track record in building, getting buy-in, executing data-driven marketing plans, and staying focused on high-impact work in a fast-moving environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills. Demonstrated experience building credibility with and delivering results for product teams, commercials teams, and customers.
- Autonomous self-starter. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects/deals/workstreams simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to glean meaningful insights from large datasets. Our primary analytics platforms are: HubSpot, Pendo, and Vitally.

Grata is committed to providing competitive cash compensation and benefits. The compensation offered for this role will be based on multiple factors such as location, the role’s scope and complexity, and the candidate’s experience and expertise, and may vary from the range provided below. For roles based in New York City, the estimated base salary for this role is $120,000 - $140,000 per year.
