Job Summary

We are looking for a NPI Supply Chain Planner who will report to the Supply Chain Manager and will have accountability for planning and execution of material readiness to support NPI builds and other engineering activities

The Team

The role will be as part of the Supply Chain team at Graphcore. This team is part of the Operations group and has members in Bristol and Taiwan. The team is responsible for developing and maintaining a robust manufacturing subcontract supply chain for Graphcore.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Collaborate with engineering team and procurement manager to ensure BoM update accurately and timely at NPI stage.
  • Identify material and hardware requirements and work with buyers, suppliers and CMs in ensuring BOMs are delivered on time to support NPI build plans.
  • Work with engineering team and PMs to generate the NPI build requirement based on demand and ensure build plans are completed to meet demand on time.
  • Manage NPI material inventory and arrange shipment between manufacturing sites and CMs to support engineering demand on time.
  • Monitor components EOL status and take appropriate actions.
  • Work with external suppliers to understand lead time and capacity for mass production.
  • Work with production teams in ensuring a smooth transition from NPI to mass production.

Candidate Profile

Essential:

  • BA of Industrial Engineering or Supply Chain Planning related or equivalent experience
  • Experienced in New Product Introduction (NPI) supply chain planning
  • Experienced with supply chain management of electronics and mechanical components
  • Have intermediate / advanced Excel skills, good knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems

Desirable

  • Have excellent stakeholder management and communication skills (written and oral) and a good understanding of Project Management principles and methodologies
  • Knowledge of Silicon Expert and Arena system but not critical as training can be given.
