The Digital Sales Manager - Eastern Canada has responsibility for executing the commercial strategy and hitting targets for Corteva and Granular’s digital products in their territory. This is primarily a sales role, owning acreage and revenue targets that are driven through a combination of direct sales and sales through Corteva’s sed and crop protection channels. The Digital Sales Manager will be expected to collaborate with Granular Account Executives and regional Corteva seed and crop protection employees to construct sales plans for each product line and then lead the training and execution of each plan. 

The Digital Sales Manager reports directly to the Digital Commercial Lead for Canada, with indirect reporting to a Granular Sales Manager.

What You’ll Do:

  • Meet or beat digital revenue and acreage penetration targets for the territory
  • Close or assist in closing deals for digital products with farmers and agriculture consultants, dealers, and retailers
  • Collaborate with regional commercial leaders in Corteva Commercial to drive sales of the digital offerings through the seed and crop protection channels
  • Coordinate communication and collaboration between Granular Account Executive and Customer Success teams and Corteva’s Commercial employees
  • Communicate competitive intel and product-feature needs learned through sales calls with prospects and customers to the Granular product team
  • 30% travel within Canada with occasional travel to US offices in San Francisco and/or Iowa

Education & Experience:

  • 2+ years agriculture or precision ag experience
  • 4+ years of sales experience, with history of meeting or beating quota
  • Experience in marketing, customer success or service a strong plus
  • BA/BS in business, agriculture, or related field required
  • High proficiency in direct sales and channel sales
  • Proficient with Google Suite (Gmail, GDrive, GDocs, GSheet, GSlides)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and Outlook)
