Grammarly is excited to offer a remote-first hybrid working model. Team members work primarily remotely in the United States, Canada, Ukraine, Germany, or Poland. Certain roles have specific location requirements to facilitate collaboration at a particular Grammarly hub.

All roles have an in-person component: Conditions permitting, teams meet 2–4 weeks every quarter at one of Grammarly’s hubs in San Francisco, Kyiv, New York, Vancouver, and Berlin, or in a workspace in Kraków. This flexible approach gives team members the best of both worlds: plenty of focus time along with in-person collaboration that fosters trust and unlocks creativity.

Grammarly team members in this role must be based in the United States, and they must be able to collaborate in person 2 weeks per quarter, traveling if necessary to the hub(s) where the team is based.

To achieve our ambitious goals, we’re looking for a Senior Manager of Website CRO to join our Acquisition Marketing team. This person will be responsible for optimizing a potential customer’s experience from when they land on our marketing website (both desktop and mobile) to when they enter the product conversion funnel. 

Your impact

As the Senior Manager of Website Conversion, you will create a strategy to optimize conversion from first visit to first contact. You will be a key player on our website marketing team and will be instrumental in helping Grammarly build web conversion rate optimization into a vibrant and performative channel. You will be able to drive a direct impact on the business by improving the experience of millions of visitors per week.

In this role, you will:

  • Be an advocate for optimizing marketing web pages (on both desktop and mobile) to best meet visitors’ needs, balancing conversion rate optimization with user experience and long-term brand sentiment.
  • Drive individual user signups and marketing qualified leads for our enterprise product.
  • Collaborate with demand generation, data, and sales teams to build a B2C2B funnel on our website.
  • Use data and other insights to develop the web page optimization roadmap, execute this roadmap, and track the performance.
  • Have a deep understanding of testing, including A/B and multivariate, and know when to apply different methodologies. 
  • Work hands-on with testing tools and data analysis.
  • Set goals and KPIs for conversion rate optimization that help meet broader website and Acquisition team goals.
  • Develop best practices, guidance, and templates for building new marketing web pages; consult with partners across marketing and other departments to build optimized web pages.
  • Collaborate with other members of the Website team, including SEO managers and content marketers, to drive our overall website strategy and identify new landing page opportunities.
  • Mentor team members focused on CRO and conversion-driving web content. 
  • Partner with data science and human insights teams to better understand visitor behavior on our website.
  • Develop a website segmentation and personalization strategy.
  • Build cross-functional partnerships with product, engineering, design, and other marketing teams to create a seamless first-touch-to-website-to-conversion funnel experience. 
  • Be the knowledge holder of industry trends, best practices, and innovation in the Web CRO space, and advocate for bringing new techniques and technologies to the company to keep us on the cutting edge.

  • Understands how people use websites, how the information presented on sites and the ways in which that information is presented can have a huge impact on what a user does, and how experience with user segmentation and personalization is appreciated. 
  • May have experience in UX, web design, product management, and content strategy.

Grammarly takes a market-based approach to compensation, which means base pay may vary depending on your location. Our US and Canada locations are categorized into compensation zones based on each geographic region’s cost of labor index. Base pay may vary considerably depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The expected salary ranges for this position are outlined below by compensation zone and may be modified in the future. 

United States: 
Zone 1: $154,000 - $192,000/year (USD)
Zone 2: $139,000 - $173,000/year (USD)
