As a member of the management team in a critical leadership role, your responsibilities would include - leading human resources, recruiting, people operations, & learning and development across the game development studio. You will leverage your career expertise alongside a deep understanding of Gram Games’ unique business needs to support the team in recruiting and developing the talent necessary for us to build new games, and grow our popular titles for our passionate players. You will also help to foster our exceptional and unique culture, to bring the best out of people each day. We're looking for candidates who won't balk at a challenge, whether it’s recruiting highly coveted developers or designing work systems to help the company scale.  Simply put, you will be our people and culture pro, a fount of knowledge when it comes to making our team the best it can be.

…has a deep level of experience in a human resources function as a generalist, business partner

…has been in a “stand alone” role leading a business unit, studio, as a country lead or head of human resources

…is able to lead a strategy that is recruiting focused but also includes broader HR leadership in organizational design, diversity and inclusion, compensation & employee relations

  …has multi-site / international experience across different cultures and countries 

  …can independently create quality solutions to problems

  …has exceptional communication skills with both technical and non-technical team members

  …has been successful supporting executives and their teams and balancing leadership styles to influence results

  …is not a transactional HR leader but can roll up sleeves and be very hands on when required

  …takes an analytical approach to people decisions and supports proposals with data, & facts

  …has a point of view, can influence credibly based on experience, business knowledge, depth of insight into individual talent and teams, market, best practices

  …is driven to “do the right thing” for the employee experience and the business

  …can problem solve, be creative and get to the right answer if the guideline, past practice, doesn’t support certain business needs

  …is a talent and organization focused leader who understands that great business results depend not just on having great talent, but great talent working effectively together

  …has phenomenal business acumen, and if new to the games industry, a deep intellectual curiosity of what makes our industry so dynamic

  …can dive deeply into details on a project, a crisis, an interpersonal conflict, a business process workflow, an executive’s leadership strengths and weaknesses etc. etc. etc.

  …has a sense of purpose in their work and role

  …understands what it takes to inform and shape an evolving company culture

  …has experience building teams, putting systems in place to improve team performance

  …will coach team leaders to enhance leadership abilities, build relationships among teams/individuals, interpersonal communications and performance management

  …has experience managing an HR team as well working with corporate partners as needed

  …operates at a high speed and can drive a project, stay on schedule etc.

  …takes the time to think through what is important, urgent and whether the quality is at the level needed to call something complete

  …has a great sense of humor
