About Grain:
Grain turns your debit card into a credit card by analyzing the cash flow in your linked checking account and generating a line of credit tailored just for you. We never run a credit check and we don’t issue a physical card. People use Grain as an alternative to a credit card to establish a credit history or ease their cash flow. We’re challenging the notion that debit and revolving credit need to be distinct, siloed products. We believe that one should very much inform the other - one card with access to both. We’re a YC-backed and venture-funded startup. Since its launch, we have grown our customer base 42% MoM and 6x’d our revenue YoY. Grain has 30k+ reviews and a 4.7 rating on the App Store.
About the Role
You’ll be a key voice in taking the Grain brand to the next level through UI, art direction, graphic, motion, social, and web design. You’ll work cross-functionally with Marketing/Communications and other teams. You have a love for using design to evoke emotion and are always ready to be hands-on with visualizing solutions. You have experience with standard methodologies but are just as comfortable challenging them. You're a self-learner that has confidence in their intuition and can oscillate between the practical and artful sides of design. You’ll wear multiple hats as the second employee within the design team.
