Junior Analyst, Middle Office

Description
Graham Capital Management, L.P. is seeking an analyst to join our Middle Office, Trading Services group, who will report to the Managing Director of Middle Office. This candidate will sit on the trading floor and provide critical trade capture support for systematic trading and Portfolio Management teams, including confirmation of trades, transmission of trade recap files, and problem resolution.
Responsibilities
- Input derivative, foreign exchange, equity, and fixed income trades
- Locate and correct data entry errors, or report them to supervisors
- Run and verify reports summarizing daily transactions and total holdings for traders and individual customer accounts
- Interact with discretionary portfolio managers and systematic traders
- Correspond with external partners and internal colleagues in order to answer inquiries and resolve trade or account problems
- Participate in the Overnight Rotational Program which will rotate through U.S. and Asia shifts
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and prior relevant work and/or internship experience
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel
- A team player with excellent organizational skills, adept at balancing multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to use mathematics to solve problems quickly and correctly
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
This role requires commuting into our Rowayton, CT office Mondays through Friday, as well as participation in an overnight rotational program which rotates through U.S. shifts, Asia shifts (4:30 PM to 1:00 AM EST, Sunday through Thursday), and holiday coverage.
Base Salary Range
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $70,000 to $90,000. The anticipated range is based on information as of the time this post was generated. The applicable annual base salary or hourly rate paid to a successful applicant will be determined based on multiple factors, including without limitation the nature and extent of prior experience, skills, and qualifications.
Base salary or rate does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.
