This approach involves processing and analyzing large data sets to detect signals and patterns. Research initiatives are on the edge of theory and technology, and team members are given the autonomy to develop independent ideas.

Trade a distinct investment strategy based on individualized trading expertise. At Graham, Portfolio Managers have discretion to trade their views within their mandate and the firm’s disciplined risk management process while simultaneously benefiting from Graham’s substantial investment and operational infrastructure. 

Play a crucial role in enabling our firm to scale and expand. Graham’s technology professionals are responsible for building and implementing cutting-edge tools and technologies that support our alpha generation process while leveraging skills to solve complex engineering challenges.

Engage with global institutions and private wealth partners to provide valuable insights and updates on our firm and investment strategiesGraham’s Investor Relations professionals are dedicated to helping our clients meet their unique portfolio objectives and seek to cultivate long-standing relationships with investors through high- quality client service and transparency. 

Manage a range of crucial services related to portfolio valuation and performance attribution, trade reporting, counterparty management, trade volume analysis, and overall custody of assets. Our Trading Services team includes financial reporting, middle office, treasury operations, and corporate accounting teams.

Work closely with the firm’s Chief Risk Officer by using a range of proprietary and industry-standard metrics to track and analyze the risk of our strategies in real-time and ensure compliance with our robust risk management standards. These professionals review position-level information and related risks for each of the firm’s strategies within the context of prevailing market conditions, using both industry-recognized and proprietary risk tools.

Graham has offices in Connecticut, Florida, and London. Our headquarters are located in Rowayton, CT, a suburb of New York City. Many of our team members live in New York City and commute by train (which takes approximately an hour from Grand Central). Other employees live in surrounding towns in Fairfield County, Connecticut, which is home to several of the largest investment institutions in the world.

Our in-house resources and programs are designed to inspire collaboration and creativity, as well as encourage the freedom to develop independent ideas. Regular “Lunch and Learns,” educational sessions, and our internal technology platform seek to foster a transparent and collaborative environment and develop talent across departments.

Each department has kitchen facilities stocked with a selection of complimentary coffees and teas, as well as fruit and snacks to help fuel the day. In addition, full breakfast and lunch options are available in our gourmet dining facility, including daily grill and entrée specials, specially curated wellness meals, fruit and salad bars, freshly prepared smoothies, a deli station, and soup options. Takeout dinners are available as well. Whether you choose to dine indoors or “al fresco” on our patio with stunning harbor views, taking a break to refuel is essential for staying focused and energized throughout the workday.

In our fast-paced work environment, where new challenges and exciting ideas constantly arise, we’re dedicated to not just keeping up with the cutting edge of theory and technology but also to finding innovative solutions. Our flat management structure, combined with regular collaboration across departments, fosters an atmosphere where exploring new ideas and solving challenges go hand in hand.

What do interns do?

During the summer internship, interns work on a combination of independent and team-based projects that span multiple departments. Interns are offered unique learning opportunities through ‘lunch and learns’ with senior management, deepening their understanding of both Graham and the larger hedge fund industry. Interns are fully integrated into the Graham community, participating in company-wide events and initiatives, including professional networking activities. We take pride in the fact that our interns have become an integral part of our talent pipeline, and prior interns have joined our team as full-time employees.
