Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary management representative, overseeing and coordinating all field-based construction management activities and personnel.
- Ensure project execution adheres to schedule, delivering timely completion without compromising quality or safety standards.
- Lead the full spectrum of construction management services, providing strategic direction and hands-on guidance.
- Develop and rigorously implement comprehensive project procedures manuals.
- Thoroughly review and process contractor payment requests, change orders, and other project-related documentation.
- Prepare insightful reports for Gotion leadership on construction progress, scheduling, safety, and potential areas of concern or optimization.
- Collaborate effectively with union representatives to maintain strong labor relations.
- Secure all necessary permits and work towards a timely Certificate of Occupancy.
- Document lessons learned to continuously improve construction processes.
- Champion compliance with ISO standards and proactively address any potential audit findings.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience managing construction and supporting engineering efforts in a heavy industrial setting.
- At least 5 years of proven success as a Project Manager, demonstrating strong leadership and deadline-driven execution.
