Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Equipment Installation and Commissioning: Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to install, troubleshoot, and commission new manufacturing equipment (cell, pack, or ESS assembly lines).
- Maintenance and Optimization: Execute preventative maintenance routines to ensure equipment reliability and longevity. Develop and implement strategies to optimize machine performance, uptime, and throughput.
- Troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis: Quickly diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions. Use data-driven analysis to identify and address recurring issues.
- Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Proactively suggest and implement upgrades or modifications to enhance equipment safety, efficiency, and output.
- Documentation and Training: Collaborate in developing technical documentation (schematics, manuals, etc.). Train operators and production staff on equipment operation and best practices.
Required Qualifications:
- AA/BS Degree in Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related field. Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Entry-level engineers with demonstrable mechanical/electrical aptitude welcomed.
- Experienced technicians with 2+ years of relevant manufacturing equipment experience strongly desired.
- Familiarity with industrial automation, PLC programming, electrical/mechanical systems. Experience in high-volume manufacturing a plus.
