Summary:
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and knowledgeable Tax Analyst to join our team at Gotion Inc's Illinois Manufacturing plant in Manteno, IL. The ideal candidate will have experience in preparing and analyzing tax returns, identifying tax planning opportunities, and ensuring compliance with all tax laws and regulations. Proficiency in Chinese is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze federal, state, and local tax returns for Gotion Inc and its subsidiaries
- Identify tax planning opportunities and develop strategies to minimize tax liability
- Research and analyze tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance
- Represent Gotion Inc in tax audits and examinations
- Work closely with the Tax Manager to ensure that all tax filings are timely and accurate
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in tax accounting
- Strong understanding of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
- Experience with tax preparation software such as CCH Tax or ProSystem fx
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Nice to Have:
- Proficiency in Chinese
- Experience with international tax accounting practices
