Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Define and negotiate the technical specification of the Utility Equipment including Chillers, HVAC, Dehumidifiers, Air & Nitrogen Generators, Wastewater treatment facility etc.  
  • Contribute on RFQ packages of all utility equipment.
  • Create periodic maintenance instruction
  •  Responsible for utility day to day activities & take care of operation and maintenance.
  •  Execute any modification activities as per upgradation requirement based on observation or guideline needs with contractors.
  •  Perform manufacturing and facility equipment maintenance, installations and repairs as needed by customers or determined through routine audits including but not limited to carpentry, electrical, plumbing (boilers, chillers, dust collector, air handling unit, fire alarm system etc) and light construction.
  •  Work with various departments to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Work closely with equipment vendors to launch equipment until SOP
  • Complete emergency repairs as needed.
  •  Complete preventative maintenance on equipment and building systems as established in department procedures and audits and required by regulatory agencies.
  •  Maintain inventory of spare parts, consumables and change tooling equipment.
  •  Monitor Facilities and Manufacturing operating equipment daily, troubleshooting problems and inefficiencies and recommending possible solutions.
  •  Coordinate the services of outside vendors when necessary. Identify existing and potential operational problems and inefficiencies and recommend resolutions.
  •  Assist in developing and maintaining required documentation including but not limited to blueprints, plans, and permits according to Company SOP's and the requirements of external parties.

Required Qualifications:

  • Ability to read and interpret Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing Diagrams.
  • Thorough working knowledge of relevant systems and equipment and the related regulatory requirements needed; mastery of more than one trade required.
  • Good communications, customer service and technical skills necessary
  • 5-7 years of experience, preference give to candidates with heavy industries like Oil, Pharmaceutical, Battery Manufacturing etc.
  • Mechanical/Electrical engineering degree

 

 

Base pay is one part of our total compensation package at Gotion, and is determined within a range. This provides you with the opportunity to progress as you grow and advance your career at Gotion. The base pay range for this role is shown below, and will depend on your skills, qualifications, experiences, and location.

Expected Pay Range
$100,000$150,000 USD
