Job Summary: The Production Manager for the ESS Line plays a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the production operations specific to energy storage systems within the battery factory. This position involves leadership, production planning, quality control, and ensuring the efficient and safe manufacturing of ESS products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the production team for the ESS Line, including supervisors, operators, and technicians.
  • Develop and implement production strategies and initiatives to optimize efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and product quality.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering, quality assurance, and logistics, to ensure alignment of production operations with customer demand and quality standards.
  • Manage and monitor production schedules to meet production targets and customer requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in the manufacturing process.
  • Identify, assess, and manage production-related risks and issues, taking corrective actions when necessary.
  • Monitor and optimize inventory levels of raw materials and work-in-progress to minimize waste and ensure efficient production.
  • Analyze production performance, KPIs, and data to drive continuous improvement efforts for the ESS Line.

Required Qualifications:

  • 7 to 15 years of experience in production management, preferably within the manufacturing of energy storage systems or similar products.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, such as Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related discipline.

Base Pay Information: Base pay is one component of our total compensation package and is determined within a specific range. The specific base pay for the Production Manager - ESS Line role will depend on factors including the candidate's skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Base pay is one part of our total compensation package at Gotion, and is determined within a range. This provides you with the opportunity to progress as you grow and advance your career at Gotion. The base pay range for this role is shown below, and will depend on your skills, qualifications, experiences, and location.

Expected Pay Range
$130,000$160,000 USD
