What will you do?
Here is some of the strategic and tactical work our Media Planner will tackle in their first year:
Develop strong and effective media plans incorporating display, mobile, social, video and custom elements based on sound strategies and research
Cross check plans and all supporting documents(spec sheets, SalesForce product book, IOs, billing docs)
Confidently present plans to clients and listen/adapt based on feedback
Manage client relationships
Supervise insertion order process and ensuring adherence to terms and conditions
Handle receipt of ad tags/creatives from client and work with ad operations in implementation
Provide screenshots of live campaign elements to client
Monitor the performance of each campaign and make optimizations based on the KPIs and digital strategy
Create performance and post-campaign reports
Coordinate billing and invoicing against all media buys
Provide support to sales and strategy teams on additional projects as directed
Other duties as assigned
Skills desired for the role:
One to three 3 years in digital media planning
Advanced computer knowledge(Excel, Powerpoint, Google Sheets, etc.)
Experience with a third-party ad server(DFP a plus)
Experience with research techniques and sources(Nielsen, MRI, Ad views, Redbook)
Strong writing, strategic and analytical thinking skills
Able to work independently and have excellent time management skills
Problem solver with the ability to develop creative solutions
Organized and detail-oriented with strong attention to follow-through
Excellent communication skills under high-pressure situations both internally and externally
Strong knowledge of ad trafficking, ad serving and media reporting against digital media campaigns
Nimble and flexible to succeed in a fast-paced environment and handle ad hoc requests
Strong team player
Media planning/buying experience as a Media Planner and/or Media Buyer with experience across digital(display, social, etc.)
