About the role:

We are looking for an Account Manager (Digital Textbooks) who will focus on cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with key publishing partners in Korea and lead the sales and marketing efforts for digital textbooks. Our ideal candidate for this role has experience from the Korean academic/education content industry, is self-driven, goal-oriented, and data-driven person who works well on a team as well as independently.

This is the role for you if you’re excited to work on the things listed below:

  • Build textbook launching plans, promotion roadmaps, drive sales campaign on our in-app platform, collaborating closely with our digital marketing team.
  • Maintain strong partner relationships with strong negotiation and deal-close skills, manage day-to-day operations and prepare reports.
  • Drive revenue generation from partnerships by planning excellent GTM strategies with a solid understanding of sales and marketing processes.
  • Lead partnership initiatives to report to leadership succinctly and collaborate with multiple cross-functional teams to execute plans.
     

The skills you will need to be successful in the above:

  • 5+ years experience in sales & marketing in a B2C product company with specific focus on the Korea market, ideally in the education content or textbook industry
  • Demonstrated experience in cultivating and maintaining strategic partnerships and finding joint opportunities to drive revenue and achieve business objectives
  • Experience collaborating effectively with global marketing teams & cross-functionally with product, engineering, and customer service teams for all growth activities planned in Korea
  • Strong communication skills, with a fluency in English & Korean
  • Experience collaborating with conservative partners in digital transformation initiatives 
  • eCommerce background is a plus
  • Previous experiences in in-app marketing/off-app marketing for CRM or digital ad for performance marketing will be preferred (eCommerce, Digital Book Store...)
