As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will:
- Be a part of a successful tech startup that translates our vision into a solid SaaS product that performs, scales and is easy to use.
- Be a part of a team of strong engineers responsible for core systems that capture data and import it into Gong, which includes high-scale ingestion systems that integrate with various external data providers.
- Continuously improve and optimize our core systems, maintaining robust and scalable systems, that keep our raving fans (AKA customers) happy.
- Explore & learn new fields, APIs and cutting-edge technologies.
- Write tons of code with very little supervision, while collaborating with the other team members.
You should apply if you are:
- A software engineer with significant hands-on experience in developing cloud-based web applications.
- 5+ years of industry experience in large-scale backend development, especially Java.
- Have a good understanding of web applications – both at the data level and at the architecture level.
- Preferably with a degree in computer science or similar.
- Someone who enjoys having responsibility and a sense of ownership of the created product.
- Most importantly, a person who enjoys working in a team with very strong peers.
- This position requires Israeli residence
