About the Role: 

Motive is looking for an execution-driven Workplace Experience Specialist to support our team in Taipei, Taiwan. This role will report to the General Manager of Motive Taiwan Office. The Workplace Specialist will play a key role in creating an office environment that can inspire creativity and drive productivity for the business. You will be responsible for ensuring that the Motive Taiwan runs optimally, with an eye towards a great candidate and employee experience. The ideal candidate has experience managing a growing office, developing relationships with property management, people engagement, and works well with facilities vendors.

What You’ll Do: 

  • Create an exceptional experience for Motive employees and guests
  • Run office operations including vendor management, facilities services, maintenance of office, mechanical systems, and furniture; janitorial service, and health and safety
  • Work with the Taiwan leadership team to plan and coordinate office and company events, ex Xmas and Year-End party, in Taiwan office 
  • Follow the company processes and systems to ensure a seamless candidate and employee experience (lunch/snack, set up conference rooms, and new hire set up)
  • Coordinate with the HR and recruiting team with the new hires onboarding process. 
  • Determine improvements of the office under approved budget guidelines and Taiwan leadership team’s approval. 
  • Responsible for managing the office seating and space arrangement.
  • Ensure security systems and health & safety policies are up to par and communicate workplace safety to employees.
  • Maintain Taiwan office casualty endorsement with the legal team. 
  • Select and supervise vendor relationships (catering, custodial, repairs, interior designer, constructor, outside maintenance and facilities contractors for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, etc.
  • Receive incoming(import) packages/mail and assist with outgoing(export) shipments and shipment tax. 
  • Work to support the engineering team for equipment purchase 
  • Send out office communication through slack/email to keep the team up to date on new hires, birthdays, lunch menus, and general office announcements
  • Responsible for the pantry operation including electronic equipment, ex refrigerator, coffee machine and microwave ..etc.  
  • Be flexible to support the Taiwan team when needed. 
  • Position is located in Neihu, Taipei.

What We’re Looking For: 

  • Bachelor degree in business or engineering related major is preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in facilities, hospitality, corporate services, or property management is plus
  • Proven record of success leading facilities and vendor services to achieve a premium guest experience
  • Strong project management skills with a track record of completing projects successfully
  • Customer-service orientation with the goal of creating a great employee experience and driving staff productivity
  • Proficient in both English and Chinese
  • A positive, Proactive, can-do, make-it-happen and flexible attitude 
  • Broad understanding of various workplace maintenance functions and ability to communicate building issues of various types
  • Working experience in electronics consumer product field is preferred
  • Google Suite, Slack, and HappyFox, experience is a plus
  • Can support the flexible working hours to do the regular conference call with US team
