About the Role
Gizmodo is looking for a Senior Reporter to join our spirited, fast-paced newsroom and write essential reviews and consumer electronics-focused news coverage. This position will focus on phone hardware and mobile computing.
The ideal candidate for this position has experience closely covering the phone hardware market, and lots of experience writing phone reviews. They’re already sourced in the industry and know the big stories to expect in 2022. They’ve got a strong opinion about which phone their friends should buy and are willing to debate the decision at length.
Experience writing both news and product reviews is a must. They can smell hype and BS from a mile away, and expertly parse press releases and PR statements with a critical eye. They know what makes a great story for Gizmodo, and can write for us with confidence and voice.
This position will be based in Gizmodo’s NYC or LA office.
