About the Role:
G/O Media is currently looking for an AP Supervisor to work within our Finance team. This person will supervise processing of vendor invoices and payments for the Company. The AP Supervisor will act as liaison between Treasury and all departments for processing vendor invoices and payments and manage a small staff.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Ensure vendor onboarding forms are completed and filed (W-9, ACH forms, etc.)
Analyzes invoices and expense reports for accuracy and eligibility for payment.
Ensure timely payment of vendor invoices and expense reimbursement
Process payments via online banking, check or other forms of payment as required
Reconcile AP ledger to the NetSuite general ledger accounts
Reconcile credit card reports to expense reports
Manage annual 1099 reporting
Preparation of ad hoc vendor analysis for the Finance team and Department Heads
Identify and drive workflow process improvements through automation
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
1-2 years of relevant supervisory experience
Proficient in Excel, experience with Netsuite a plus
Strong attention-to-detail and ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy
Demonstrates ability to build relationships and trust with management, vendors, and various stakeholders
Must be flexible, agile, and highly responsive to the needs of the business
