About the Position

The Golden State Warriors are looking for an upbeat and detail oriented Accounts Payable Specialist. In this role, you will work closely with the Finance team to ensure accurate account coding and fund allocations, as well as accounts payable reconciliations for the month-end and year-end closing process. This position reports to the Accounts Payable Manager.

This is a full-time position based onsite in San Francisco, CA.

Key Responsibilities

Ability to organize and process a high volume of invoices accurately
Perform weekly vendor payment runs (check, EFT & wire and manual ACHS) and close out invoices paid by wires or manual ACHs
Review and analyze Requisitions Purchase Orders; assist in preparing month end accruals (proficiency in pivot tables and v-lookups is a plus) to ensure spend captured in appropriate period
Verify discrepancies and resolve vendor billing issues; maintain vendor relationships
Prepare and track various AP reporting metrics for management
Prepare various journal entries as needed using NetSuite
Perform month end account reconciliations
Assist in the evolution of AP policies & procedures
Ad-hoc reporting as assigned
Work in conjunction with AP team
Other duties as assigned

Required Experience & Skills

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accounting or Business Administration, or equivalent work experience
Minimum 1-4 years in an accounts payable position
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (advanced proficiency in Excel); experience with NetSuite & Concur is a must
Excellent written and verbal communication, service and resolution skills
Must possess high degree of discretion, integrity, professionalism, and accountability for areas of responsibility and related results
Ability to build positive relationships with partners at all levels within the organization
Strong detail orientation with the ability to balance multiple projects at once in a fast-paced work environment

Compensation

$29.00 - 31.00 per hour + Bonus
