The GoHealth Manager of Learning and Development Strategy will be responsible for developing tactics for new carrier implementation, ongoing learning and development and seasonal agent preparation. You will engage with our business development team and carriers to identify our training needs for proper institution with our new hire and ongoing production teams. You will strategize and develop tactics to ensure optimal agent adoption and maximize performance early. You will be a proven Training Strategy leader, who is passionate in training and developing teams.

This is inclusive of interviewing, onboarding and each role day-to-day. Responsibilities:

  • Understand, document, and optimize new and ongoing carrier training,
  • Meet with business development and carrier contacts to understand current training process and protocols
  • Evaluate carrier training documents, portals and process to identify gaps and needs for our internal agent training
  • Create and manage action plan from implementation to delivery for training needs
  • Partner with production, strategy and operations teams to improve training delivery
  • Partner with site leadership to identify preferred training methods and plan schedules for agent training
  • Work with WFM team to schedule and facilitate agent training
  • Construct action plans to expand initial carrier training to additional production agents

Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years Management experience
  • 2+ years Medicare experience
  • 2+ years training experience
  • Client services experience preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required
  • Excellent problem solving and communication skills
  • Outstanding training focus, Medicare knowledge, and sales skills.
  • Able to work well within a team, while developing and motivating staff
  • Confident with a keen eye for business
  • Ability to set, satisfy, and exceed targets
  • Able and available to work nights, weekends, and extended hours as needed
