Join us! The GoFundMe team is searching for our next Senior Data Scientist to strengthen our Marketing Data Science efforts and advance data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will work with an accomplished team to drive impact through insights and advanced analytics.
Candidates considered for this role will be located in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The Job…
- Lead the design, analysis, and interpretation of marketing analytics projects, covering data requirement gathering, processing, modeling, and actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate with marketing leadership to develop and monitor KPIs, track campaign effectiveness, and provide insights into customer acquisition, retention, and engagement.
- Drive marketing experimentation and A/B testing, analyzing the impact of various marketing strategies and channels.
- Apply advanced analytics and data science methods to measure marketing attribution, optimize campaigns, and forecast marketing ROI.
- Identify and disseminate best practices across the team in terms of marketing analytics tools, systems, and processes.
- Partner cross-functionally with Growth, Product, and Finance teams to uncover new analytical opportunities that drive business performance.
- Work closely with data and engineering teams to design scalable data pipelines and marketing performance tracking mechanisms.
- Contribute to ELT processes as needed.
You have…
- 5+ years of experience in marketing data science, growth analytics, or data science with a focus on digital marketing, attribution, and customer lifecycle analysis.
- A Master’s degree or PhD in a quantitative field (Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, or related) is a plus.
- Experience with a broad set of statistical and machine learning methods to optimize marketing campaigns and customer engagement.
- Expertise in formulating and executing multivariate and A/B testing for marketing initiatives.
- Advanced experience using Python to perform statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and marketing performance forecasting.
- Deep experience with SQL for writing scalable data transformations.
- Able to prioritize and manage business requests with clear scoping and stakeholder expectation setting.
- Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations for marketing leadership.
- Knowledge of digital marketing platforms, attribution models, event tracking, and database architecture is a plus.
