Godfrey Dadich Partners (GDP) combines the best of brand, journalism, design, marketing, and digital to build compelling and emotive brand stories. Our group includes Upstatement, a digital product studio, and Ghost Note, a brand and community creative studio. 

The director of growth will understand, implement, and lead GDP’s business growth strategy to enable the group to grow, thrive, and maintain a healthy financial position within the marketplace. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit who can work independently—and collaboratively with key executive leaders from GDP and Upstatement. This individual will be responsible for identifying and implementing new growth opportunities.

This role is based in New York City and is in-person at our 395 Hudson Street studio.

The Role
This is a critical, permanent position based out of our New York studio. Regular travel to both Boston and San Francisco will be required.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive business impact: Lead our growth initiatives focusing on strategic and financial outcomes. You'll ensure we're positioned for success from pipeline management to proposal development.

About You

  • 8-10+ years of experience in a leadership role within the agency landscape in a customer-facing sales/business development role, managing teams and clients
  • A strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the client’s customers, competitors, marketplace, and business challenges
  • An empathetic leader with a commitment to fostering a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
  • An exceptional written and verbal communicator capable of inspiring confidence and articulating strategic visions to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Innovative and proactive, with a keen eye for leveraging market trends and data to drive decision-making.
  • Relationship-oriented with proven success in building and maintaining long-term client relationships
  • Autonomous and self-actualized while also enjoying teamwork team building
  • Experienced with CRM software and data analysis tools.
  • Action-oriented with the ability to quickly identify, prioritize, and execute opportunities and tasks
  • Experienced negotiator with the ability to create shared value with negotiation partners, capture value for the group, and mitigate key risks
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and can confidently define a valuable role while contributing to existing processes
  • BA or equivalent experience

The anticipated pay range for this role is $175,000 - $200,000.

This is the salary range that Godfrey Dadich Partners believes is appropriate for this position at the time of this posting. Our salary offers take into consideration the skills and experience a candidate brings, pay equity across similar roles within GDP, and the market rate for similar roles outside of GDP. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant, along with the requirements of the position.
