At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-time; others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days) and some work entirely remotely

This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or offsites.​

This position is not eligible to be performed in Alaska, Mississippi, North Dakota, or the Virgin Islands.

We are looking for a skilled front-end or full-stack engineer who is confident in and working with collaborative, globally distributed teams. The ideal candidate is experienced and confident enough to hit the ground running. Must have at least 4 working hours overlap with MST (GMT -7).

What you'll get to do...

  • Add to, design, and maintain a set of large/complex application portals
  • Collaborate with back-end part of the team on REST API design
  • Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges.
  • Collaboratively contribute to our code libraries, code reviews, and technical decisions.
  • Maintain code integrity and organization.

 Your experience should include...

  • Strong knowledge of modern Typescript development using Reactjs and Redux.
  • Understanding accessibility and security compliance.
  • Using modular and reusable code and components
  • Knowledge of the common web application exploits and their solutions.
  • User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments (specifically oauth & SSO strategies).
  • Strong understanding of Unit Tests and Integration Tests.
  • Experience working remotely or with a distributed team
  • Top notch communication skills.

BONUS ROUND:

  • Experience with frontend performance optimization
  • Use Figma or other design tools to design new components and feature flows
  • Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
  • Experience with modern OO PHP development using a micro-framework
