We are looking for someone who can lead and roll out initiatives and programs for our employees that are created by our corporate functions, including our People Team. Our corporate functions are critical to the success of our people and our company as whole.

Through a deep understanding of GoDaddy’s voice, brand and culture, this role will have a seat at the table helping to bring the People Team’s mission and vision to life. Successful candidates will have a combination of great storytelling and creative abilities, a willingness to explore and experiment with internal communications techniques and platforms, and exceptional relationship management skills.

Our dream candidate is an accomplished project manager with a track record of delivering successful communications outcomes. In addition, the successful candidate will be an integral member of the wider communications efforts. They will be expected to contribute to other initiatives, including events support, communication deployment, tracking and analysis, copy editing and message development.

What you'll get to do...

  • Develop a robust communications strategy for our corporate functions
  • Partner closely with business partners to develop narratives for employees
  • Enhance how we message initiatives and create a holistic plan and roadmap.
  • Plan, author, provide content, edit and deploy communications for a variety of internal communications mediums, such as intranet, newsletters, Slack, internal emails, etc.
  • Support our corporate team with program rollouts by building a robust multi-channel communication strategy catered to various audiences. Must be good at synthesizing complex information and distilling for easy consumption, especially technical HR information.
  • Support with the planning, design, content and execution of People Team materials for company-wide programs and meetings.
  • Test, track, analyze and report on relevant statistics and conversion rates to establish benchmarks, measure success, and continuously improve.

Your experience should include...

  • Between 5-7 years of communications experience - internal, external, in-house or agency, journalism, email marketing or elsewhere… the more meaningful experience, the better.
  • Proven ability to develop and deliver strategic communications plans - ideal candidate can demonstrate successful outcomes from communications activities where they have conceptualized, developed and executed a multi-channel communications plan.
  • Genuine communications savvy - you must have strong copywriting and editing skills; as well as strong digital content generation skills.
  • Attention to detail - from email copy to distribution lists to slides, you must be able to catch the slightest discrepancies and ensure seamless content and execution.
  • Strong project management skills - ability to organize work in a methodical and rigorous manner but equally comfortable in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment.
  • Fast learner - master new tools and platforms quickly.
  • Excellent relationship management - build rapport with stakeholders across various teams.
  • Impact player - you must be a strong self-starter who is willing to make their mark in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial organization.
  • Team player - we’re looking for a willingness to jump in as needed on projects outside your scope.
