The role
As a Partner Events Manager you’ll develop and implement a comprehensive global events plan aligned with the GoCardless indirect partner channel. This role will involve collaborating with strategic global partners, industry publications, and marketing initiatives to deliver key events, manage relationships with Partner Account Managers, and oversee the execution of partner-related events while effectively utilizing the Partnerships Budget. You will work closely with teams across Brand Design, Content, and Product Marketing to ensure successful event delivery and alignment with our strategic goals.
What excites you
- Building a global events plan aligned to the GoCardless indirect partner channel - incorporating strategic global partners, industry publications, campaigns and thought leadership
- Owning the delivery of key events for strategic partners, working closely with the wider marketing team.
- Collaborating with Partner Account Managers on the plan of events attended or hosted for our strategic partners, leading the development of marketing initiatives.
- Project managing and executing partner related events, working closely with Brand Design, Content and Product Marketing.
- Collaborating on the effective utilisation of Partnerships Budget.
What excites us
- 3+ years partner event management and/ or experience in marketing to a B2B SaaS audience.
- A born executor, who thrives in managing an end to end events strategy from conception to managing post event ROI
- A natural project manager, able to coordinate resources across teams and balance competing priorities.
- Experience in B2B events contract negotiation
- Customer-focussed and are always seeking solutions that simultaneously benefit the end-user, your partner and the Go Cardless business.
- Budget management
- You are commercially astute and take a holistic view of the partner strategy when evaluating the impact of your activities.
