Today, we help over 40,000 businesses across Europe and Australia collect payments, and we’re growing fast. Most recently we’ve opened an office in France, and we’ve started serving merchants in Australia & New Zealand for the first time.

The ANZ team
GoCardless has ambitious plans for Australia and New Zealand. We expect to grow through a combination of existing relationships with global partners (e.g., Xero) and multinational merchants. We’ve recently opened an office in Melbourne with an initial team from our London HQ, including a Country Lead and two Account Managers. We’re now building out our local team in Australia as we prove our product-market fit and seed volumes.
You’ll be joining a small team, meaning there’s a huge opportunity to make an impact, and a huge opportunity to learn.
Based in our Melbourne office, you will be responsible for forming long-term relationships with newly certified GoCardless accountants & bookkeepers across Australia and New Zealand. You will assist them in their own account set-up, and provide all the tools they need in order for both their practice and clients to get the most out of GoCardless.
You’ll represent GoCardless at industry specific events across Australia and New Zealand whilst owning your own territory, where you’ll be the go-to GoCardless product expert. You’ll also provide invaluable feedback to our Product, Operations and Global Partnerships teams to ensure that we continue to offer accountants and small businesses the best possible experience.
We’d love to hear from you if:
You have experience working in account management or channel sales, ideally selling into the accountancy industry
You thrive in building long term relationships with your customers
You are comfortable learning a highly technical product. Whilst you won’t need to code, you will be expected to have a detailed understanding of our integrations and API
You love networking and can articulate yourself clearly. You have strong oral and written communication skills.
You are self-motivated with high-energy levels, and you inspire others to work with you.
