GoCardless’ vision is to build a global connected payments network, making payments simpler on the internet no matter what country you’re in or what software you’re using.

Today, we help over 35,000 businesses across the UK, Europe and Australia collect payments, and we’re growing fast. Already this year we’ve opened offices in France and Australia, with another to follow soon in Germany. We work with a huge range of organisations: small gyms and scout groups use us to reduce admin; fast growing companies like Funding Circle use us to power their growth and established institutions like The Guardian use us to dramatically reduce failure rates.

We’re now looking for a bold, smart and versatile Salesperson to help us grow our business across the Benelux region.

 

The role

Based in our London HQ, you will be responsible for finding and closing new businesses and building partnerships across Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg. This will be done via your own efforts and supported by our marketing, partnerships and sales development teams.

You'll work to uncover and define the best growth opportunities for GoCardless in new markets, including new customers, new verticals and new sales strategies. You'll manage inbound leads as the first point of contact for many new and growing businesses interested in GoCardless, and run outbound campaigns to reach merchants who may not be familiar with GoCardless.

GoCardless are still at early stages of our growth in the Benelux region. You will be joining a small, but growing, team, giving you a huge opportunity to make a real impact.

 

You should apply if:

  • Fluent/native Dutch speaker
  • You have experience working in a Sales environment, ideally in a B2B context
  • You are self-motivated with high-energy levels and inspire others to work with you
  • You deeply enjoy solving problems, but prefer preventing them
  • You are comfortable learning a highly technical product. Whilst you won’t need to code, you will be expected to have a detailed understanding of our API
  • You are comfortable working alone and in teams; you will be expected to collaborate with multiple internal and external stakeholders
  • You have experience prioritising between multiple important and urgent issues
  • You put your clients first and ensure their needs are at the forefront of our efforts
