About the Team
The Operations team manages our worldwide distribution network and is responsible for authenticating our sneakers, fulfilling orders and ensuring on-time delivery to buyers. Through our technological innovation and logistical efficiency, you will join a team that prides itself on being the most trusted marketplace in the industry while shipping and processing tens of millions of products for our global buyers and sellers.
In this role, you will:
- Be responsible for the day-to-day leadership and management of GOAT Operations locations
- Direct daily activities to meet efficiency and profit goals
- Spearhead and shape new initiatives to meet organizational goals
- Negotiate and monitor specific budgets, controlling cost where possible
- Guide hiring, management and scheduling of employees to meet key needs
- Suggest and see through system and process changes to maximize quality and consistency
- Manage fairly and consistently, rewarding top performers and managing team members that need additional training
- Foster an inclusive and collaborative culture throughout the building and company
- Build excellent relationships inside and outside the facilities
- Manages and/or provides day-to-day leadership to various operational roles in the warehouse
- To have a well-defined Communication and Engagement model in place to ensure all direct reports and teams understand the performance of the business and also that they understand the needs of their teams
- The continuous identification implementation of operational best practice through interaction with the wider team
- Motivate and effectively performance manager Operations Managers within the account to ensure delivery of overall targets and business plan
We are looking for:
- 10+ years of operations leadership
- 4+ years of leading multiple facilities
- Experience running a team of 100+ employees and multiple locations
- Previous experience dealing with MHE
- Possesses a financial acumen-recording, tracking and reporting expense control
- Ability to assess complex problems, interpret operational needs, and develop integrated, creative solutions
- A quick learner, a self-starter, able to work autonomously, and you’re willing (and able) to handle the pressures of an increasing level of responsibility
- Must be available to travel and willing to work extended hours as occasionally needed to meet business needs. (all hands on deck during crunch times!!)
