We are looking to amplify our impact and are currently looking for a Social Media Strategist.

We’re looking for a Social Media Strategist to take our marketing and distribution efforts to the next level. This person will work specifically on one of our Goalcast's show working closely with the Showrunner and content team. We are looking for someone who is as creative as they are analytical, with a passion for social impact and digital media. Social media is a fundamental part of our business and we want the best of the best. That means you’re plugged into the latest trends, you bring valuable expertise that will help us think outside the box and are committed to delivering a superior community experience.

To succeed in this role, you need to be highly proficient in Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and Twitter, as well as perform well in a fast-changing environment. You must have a genuine interest in motivational and inspirational content. Social media copywriting is an essential skill for this role, as well as Facebook publishing (Creator Studio). 

Key responsibilities
  • Manage all areas of social media distribution for assigned show as per the content calendar. This includes scheduling content, community management and optimizing all posts for reach and engagement.
  • Monitor analytics, audience sentiment, social media trends, brand awareness and online reputation
  • Report on learnings translated into actionable insights for editorial and content teams
  • Goal setting and tracking
  • Content asset management 
  • Social media copywriting
  • Some asset creation (social media design)
  • Stay up to date with best practices and technologies
  • Work closely with Marketing on campaigns and branding to maintain the voice of Goalcast across platforms
  • Provide constructive feedback
What we’re looking for
  • North American based candidate only (International candidates will not be considered)
  • 3+ years of social media management and content distribution
  • DEC or university degree in marketing, communications, relevant field, or equivalent
  • Strong communication, analytical and creative skills
  • Dedicated, strong team player
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Must be able to work alone and in a team
  • Able to perform under tight deadlines
  • Strong command of the English language
  • Excellent storytelling skills
