  • About the role: 

We are looking for an experienced systems engineer to join Gnosis Decentralized Exchange (DEX)  team.
The Gnosis DEX is working on a scalable token exchange using batch auctions. The rise of tokenization surfaces the need for new optimized, decentralized and scalable trading mechanisms. Gnosis is one of the thought leaders for scaling second layer infrastructure with non-interactive zero knowledge protocols. We deploy leading edge snark-technologies to provide the best trading experience.You have the opportunity to work with us in the trendy kiez of Kreuzberg - where we run our beautiful co-working space for blockchain projects, Full Node. Also, you can join us as a remote employee and work from your hometown. Currently half of our team is already using this option.

 

  • What you'll do: 

    • Help designing and coding second layer blockchain technologies.
    • In the team of 5 developers, you will be responsible for the design, development and coding of modular, concurrent services, such as: block validation, snark validation, data distribution, data storing exit game organizer services, data sharing protocols for client nodes, order processing or the client nodes itself
    • You will learn to write Solidity code, will improve your cryptographic understanding, e.g. about zero-knowledge protocols, distributed key generation and snarks.- Work closely with researchers and product managers to ship features and come up with new solutions for challenging technological problems
    • Deliver high quality code for features from concept until production
    • Contribute to our growing test suite

 

  • Who you are:
     
    • You have 3+ years experience of system engineering, preferably in Rust, but other languages are good as well (C++, Java, Go,..)
    • Structuring processes for demanding infrastructure is your strength
    • You have good general programming and algorithm skills.
    • You have a basic minimal understanding of the Ethereum blockchain.
    • You care deeply about the quality and readability of your code.
    • You proactively drive technical direction such as improving performance, preventing issues, data usage, refactoring the codebase.
    • Leadership and architecture experience are a plus, knowledge of finance IT won’t hurt.
