At Glovo, we are looking for an Economics graduated with several years of experience on the financial field to join us as the new Head of Finance in the Iberia region. 
 
This is a full time position which can be based in Barcelona or Madrid.

You will:

  • Manage operational information, financial statements, and analysis of budget
  • GM right-hand in any finance topic
  • Report to HQ on the financial and accounting statements
  • Oversee treasury and supporting in monitoring financial policies
  • Coordinate the preparation of Financial Statements
  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly and annual finance and accounting reports and analysis (P&L and BS).
  • Be involved in management control: definition of procedures, the design of budget processes
  • Supervise the relationship with third parties: external auditors, administrations, external consultants,
  • Prepare analysis and justifications of real data, forecasts, and deviations
  • Analyze of procedures and external audit - Contributing to the continuous improvement of the processes promoting solutions to possible problems detected and reduce manual tasks
  • Optimize the fiscal policy of the company: VAT tax knowledge, IIBB Multilateral Agreement
  • Ad hoc analysis to provide the different managers with information for decision making
  • Study the viability - reports of investments/projects, strategic reorientation, etc

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4/5 years of experience according to the position.
  • Knowledge of advanced Excel
  • Be a graduate student in Economics (preferably a Public Accountant or Business Administration)
  • Experience in similar sectors or technology companies will be valued
  • Advanced English
  • Analytical profile, goal-oriented, and teamwork
  • Advanced accounting and finance knowledge
