We are looking for a passionate, strategic and action-oriented professional to support our Strategy and Planning Operations department in our headquarters in Barcelona. You will act and operate as a startup within a startup, providing skills and experience to help building excellence in Operations.

You Will:

  • As a Junior Demand Planner, you will work on the organization's forecast planning function. You will contribute to build a forecast at a global level, a core competence in our company. Forecast will be based on number of orders/business to achieve in the future.
  • Provide analytical support to the team of operations.
  • Perform analysis to come up with some insights to help to improve the forecast model.
  • You will combine advanced analytical data insights with business understanding and market knowledge.
  • Coordinate with the different regions/countries/cities in order to understand key insights about local markets. You will be in contact with Country Managers, Growth and Marketing, Operations as well as Finance.
  • Follow key KPIs and measure results, particularly forecast deviation. Dimension magnitude of error and understand the reason why.
  • Participate in a process of continuous improvement to increase accuracy and level of detail.
  • Report to Operations Planning Manager.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Mathematics/Statistics or a related discipline
  • +1 year experience in a demand planning position. Further experience in Operations is a plus
  • Proven excellent analytical skills and business acumen
  • Proficiency in MS Excel
  • Experience with business driven / self-service BI. SQL is a plus
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Professional English
  • Ease in learn fast and adapt yourself to different business situations
  • Ability to establish and articulate a vision, set goals, develop and execute strategies, track and measure results
