At Glovo we are looking for a passionate and hands-on Senior Tax Associate that will work directly with the Global Head of Tax. As a Senior Tax Associate you will play a key role within the Tax team being in charge of tax matters related to our headquarters operations and giving support in corporate and/or M&A transactions.

You will:

  • Analyse tax implications derived from the day-to-day of the business by providing advice and support to business teams on both direct and indirect tax related matters (CIT, VAT, NRIT, PIT, WHT, local taxes, etc.)
  • Evaluate new business initiatives to determine their tax treatment
  • Give support with the implementation and follow-up of TP policies, helping with the coordination of the fulfillment of TP obligations around the world
  • Take care of DD processes and other corporate or M&A transactions by coordinating the project or by carrying it out directly by yourself
  • Help on improving and implementing processes across the organization to ensure tax obligations are met
  • Be dealing with local tax advisors when their support and/or advice is required


  • 6-8 years of previous experience working in a similar role or in a Law firm
  • Strong technical knowledge of Spanish taxes combined with international tax experience is a must
  • Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects
  • Problem solving skills and get things done attitude

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced English. Other languages are a plus
