We are looking for a passionate, strategic and action-oriented professional to support our Corporate Strategy department in our headquarters in Barcelona.  
 
As a Corporate Strategy Associate, you will play a key role supporting the Corporate team in the development of strategic plans and objectives through the identification of strategic issues and opportunities that could influence business growth and profitability.
 
You will act and operate as a startup within a startup, providing both expert strategic thinking and leadership skills, and work directly reporting to the Head of Corporate Strategy.

You will:

  • Be responsible for the design of strategy initiatives, through the generation of relevant data and driving analysis
  • Support to establish adequate KPIs in order to measure performance and determine the effectiveness of the implemented strategies
  • Build analytical models and performs regular financial, competitive, performance, and market analyses for the business in order to comprehensively value business opportunities and ensure well-founded strategies are presented to the relevant leadership
  • Support cross-functional special project teams to identify and evaluate critical strategic priorities and catalyze action against these priorities
  • Provide relevant information: competitor benchmarking, industry intelligence, consumer knowledge, and development of strategic initiatives that help important decision making
  • Responsible for Ad Hoc Reports at all level required: management,  board, investor relations, and team presentations

Requirements:

  • Experience in a top consulting firm for more than 2-3 years (Bain, McKinsey, BCG,...)
  • Experience with on-demand marketplaces will be highly valued, either by having directly worked or advised companies in the space
  • Ability to adapt, execute 360º and coordinate with all departments in a company
  • Experience with M&A and fundraising
  • Itchy feet and continuous thrive on learning through different projects
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to move easily between commercial, operational and product discussions
