This role will create the strategy to grow across the different markets of the European region (courier side).
It will require a mix of different skills: analytical, management, people, and creativity to tackle different challenges.

The couriers, Glovers for us, are a key player in Glovo’s marketplace. You will be responsible for ensuring an adequate supply of couriers in the short- and long-term across the whole region.

You will:

  • Be the owner of the entire lifecycle of the courier.
  • Be accountable for the acquisition, retention, engagement and NPS metrics.
  • Develop the top of the funnel, conversion, engagement and retention strategies.
  • Lead the analysis and segmentation of our couriers.
  • Work closely with local teams to help them solve their issues and implement good practices across the region
  • Manage a team of four people. You will hire, train and mentor them.
  • Run experiments and A/B tests.
  • Understand local needs, and put yourself in the skin of the Glover - understand who they are and why they are in the funnel.
  • Understand, deep-dive, have under control and improve the supply status and quality to ensure we deliver operational excellence and great customer experience.
  • Evaluate strategic opportunities, performing a broad range of quantitative and qualitative analyses.
  • Implement, standardize and execute processes across all cities of the region.
  • Contribute towards the continuous improvement of the global operations through out-of-the-box thinking.


  • 3+ years of experience in highly demanding positions (operations, consulting, investment banking, finance, etc.). Experience in on-demand is a plus.
  • Degree in Engineering, Economics or similar.
  • Strong analytical skills are a must.
  • 1+ years of experience managing high-performance teams. Inspire, coach and mentor operations specialists to support their development and competency.
  • Strong organisational skills and delegation, ability to prioritise and multitask, work well under pressure, handle multiple issues simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
  • Combine a day by day and tactical management with a strategic and long-term view.
  • Outstanding leadership skills and relationships with peers and other departments.
  • Open to change and continuous improvement.
  • Hands-on.
  • Tech Savvy, understands how information flows and is transformed from one platform
  • to another
  • Effective communication skills (both to the team and upstream).
  • Out of the box thinker and high level of self-initiative (proactive in finding new solutions to new issues).
  • Project Management experience is a plus.
  • Results oriented, autonomous and efficient.
  • Excellent critical thinking by using a data-driven approach.
  • English proficiency is a must.
  • Experience in change management processes is highly desired.
  • Knowledge of A/B testing is highly desired.
  • Knowledge in SQL is a strong plus.
