We are looking for Launchers to operationalize a city from scratch in a matter of weeks - working cross functionally with multiple departments including operations, marketing, sales, recruitment, finance, tech, business development, communications, and much more.
 
For this role, you need a well rounded personality and diverse skills to grow and manage relationships at the launch city level with our Glovers, partners and users while communicating information clearly and crisply back to HQ.

You will:

  • Frame and map new markets, and run all the on-ground activities to build the foundation for Glovo to succeed
  • Manage multiple projects and be a resourceful multi-tasker and the key stakeholder manager for regional launches
  • Build, scale, maintain, and communicate detailed reporting models aiming to assist expansion efforts, and make data driven decisions
  • Be the representative for Glovo in the new launch country for press, launch events, conferences, and media interactions
  • Cultivate relationships internally to be the voice for the launch country at HQ, and externally to truly understand the local needs of our Glovers, partners and users
  • Structure local partnerships, identifying key events while shaping the “go-to-market” marketing plan
  • Recruit and train local teams in new markets to pave the road to success
  • Lead by example by being incredibly truth seeking, making data-driven decisions, and setting the high standards for the local team
  • Research new markets for Glovo to expand in the region

Requirements:

  • 3-4 years of consulting / investment banking / management / startup or related experience
  • Get stuff done attitude: Launchers need to get a lot done in a short period. You have a scrappy attitude, be comfortable working with limited resources under tight deadlines, thrive in an unknown environment and not afraid of rolling up your sleeves and getting your hands dirty
  • Ability to work with remote teams and across time zones through clear and concise communication
  • Be an owner mindset: You are committed to growing Glovo in your city, and digging deep to solve bottlenecks
  • Immerse and network: Launchers travel often and call a new city home very couple of months. You should be able to immerse yourself in any environment, network extensively and map the city out in a few days
  • Ability to balance swift pace of execution with attention to detail
