We are looking for a passionate, highly analytical and experienced professional to lead the Global Pricing and Content Team in our HQ in Barcelona. The role will influence significant parts of the business starting from User Experience, to product, data science, sales and partner operations - and has the potential to increase the user average ticket size by heaps and bounds! Note, Content here refers to anything and everything that you see in the app (stores - restaurants, grocery, pharmacy, etc.)

You will:

  • Redefine the way Glovo searches for Content in a launch and mature city
  • Use data to understand user-buying behaviour and define our assortment strategy, this is defining what are the categories/services and local stores/vendors that Glovo should partner with in every city where we operate to maximize conversion and user satisfaction. Introduce guidelines globally to ensure the process is intimately followed
  • Define dashboards and tools to enable global and local teams to keep track of key Content performance indicators
  • Work in hand with the Global Sales Team to define the process and tools to effectively translate assortment opportunities into sales priorities and KPIs.
  • Lead charge on redesigning the sorting algorithm in the app
  • Define and lead the design of personalised content for users
  • Work with the product team (Tech) to improve user experience and conversion in every step of the funnel
  • Establish our pricing strategy - ensure content strategy does not impact bottom line
  • Introduce ways to increase ticket size - document quick wins and scale globally

Requirements:

  • Masters in business, commerce or any specialized field
  • Bachelor´s degree in Math, Engineering, Stats or Quantitative field
  • 6+ years of experience in data / BI roles, experience in e-commerce is a plus
  • Comfortable dealing with high growth and complex business challenges
  • Product experience or experience working with product teams
  • Proficient in English
