Overview:

Glossier is looking for a driven, creative and talented Junior Marketing Designer to join our Design team.  You will work closely with copywriters, other designers and the Marketing team to create and deliver world-class digital on brand designs, social assets and ads for use across multiple channels, including email, display and social. This is a critical Design role as these assets will directly drive revenue and customer acquisition for the business - so a craving for constant innovation and learnings will be key!

Responsibilities:

  • Interpret and develop Glossier’s existing brand as it shows up on paid, organic social and email channels, bringing Glossier to life in a way that is consistent with all of our other consumer touchpoints (site, product, packaging, etc.) as well as our brand mood boards and references
  • Design and edit digital creative across marketing channels, including email, organic social, display ads, social ads and video.
    • Edit existing assets into static, video and other emerging formats
    • Ideate with team to create email content that is fresh, on brand and surprising
    • Ideate with team to create and test paid designs across formats
    • Ensure delivered assets adhere to requested technical specs and needed timelines
    • Create a system and implement on video titles and editing style for paid and social daily content
  • Collaborate with marketing channel owners to concept creative based on briefs, and then iterate and optimize based on user feedback and real-time performance analytics
  • Collaborate with Creative team peers to input on content production needs for campaign and daily content needs
  • Keep up-to-date on advertising and marketing trends
  • Assist with sourcing and management of external vendors when necessary, including contract designers, videographers, editors etc.
  • Maintain a well-organized asset library
  • Work with Project Manager, Copywriting partner and other design contributors to ensure delivery of needed tasks are on brief and timely
  • Follow and maintain brand identity standards across all touch points
  • Remain in contact with creative team peers and actively contribute to the creative team culture

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of working in a professional digital design setting
  • Proficiency with Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, Final Cut Pro, and After Effects
  • Knowledge of prototyping tools
  • Front-end development experience (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) a major plus
  • Previous experience working directly with developers and delivering assets
  • Strong interest in real-time performance analytics and content testing
  • Strong design and typography skills
  • Obsessive attention to detail and a love of pixel perfect designs
  • Ability to successfully work on multiple projects at once
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-productivity environment with tight deadlines
  • You know your JPEGs, PNGs, GIFs
  • Love of the internet, marketing and testing, learning, iterating
