Glossier is looking for a self-starting Legal Operations Manager to join our collaborative Legal team. The ideal candidate is a bright, energetic, experienced, business-minded and self-motivated individual with at least five years of experience (prior in-house, start-up experience is a big plus). We are looking for someone extremely bright, with an EQ that matches his/her IQ, and an ability to deal effectively with all levels of employees and management.
Assist with day-to-day legal team organization and operations
Implement and maintain contracts management system
Prepare and monitor state filings and business registrations
Manage Glossier’s equity program, including cap table and associated equity paperwork
Work with Legal and People teams to oversee employee immigration process / filings
Review and revise a variety of contracts and other legal documents (with the assistance of attorneys as needed)
5+ years of experience as a paralegal or legal assistant at a law firm or in-house legal department
Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented, organized, efficient and resourceful with strong follow-through skills
Possess a strong desire to learn the business and function integrally as part of an interdisciplinary team
Prior experience as a paralegal or legal assistant at a start-up
Experience with stock plan administration
