About the Role

As our first dedicated Sr. Performance Marketing Manager, you will play a critical role in further operationalizing and scaling performance marketing at GlossGenius. As a member of the growth team, you'll be responsible for helping build and manage campaigns across a variety of digital channels (search and social) that drive customer acquisition. This is a great role for a candidate that has 5+ years of relevant experience and are excited to jump into a fast-paced Series A company.

You'll be working closely with the CEO and our VP of Growth to further establish and scale various paid channels including Facebook, Instagram, and Google. This person will be an integral part of the acquisition marketing program and accelerate the growth of the customer base.

You will

  • Help support acquisition campaigns for online channels including Search, Display, and Social
  • Develop a channel strategy to meet both short term and long term acquisition goals
  • Build, manage, optimize, and scale campaigns across the primary paid channels
  • Work closely with our creative team including in-house design to develop innovative and high performing assets across all devices and formats
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to scale acquisition efforts efficiently
  • Communicate weekly and monthly updates, progress reports, timelines, and channel metrics
  • Use a process of testing to prove hypotheses and recommend performance optimizations
  • Maintain and supervise reports, budgets, campaign performance, return on investment, LTV, and other channel metrics

  • You're an outstanding communicator, both verbal and written
  • You have strong knowledge of the mechanics of paid social and search
  • You're open to constructive feedback, and able to act quickly on it
  • You're excited about having impact at a quickly-growing tech startup and growing with the company
  • You've scaled up to and managed a one million dollar per year paid advertising budget
  • You're comfortable making decisions independently to ensure we're always moving fast

Experience:

A BA/BS degree or similar college level education, or equivalent practical experience

  • 5+ years of relevant paid marketing experience at or working with (via an agency) incredible B2B or B2B2C SaaS company
  • Proficient in excel and other data analysis tools
  • Expertise with PPC (paid search), social, and other digital advertising channels

Bonus:
