Glooko is now looking for a Product Owner to join the international engineering team!
Core Responsibilities
- Collaborates with product manager(s) and stakeholders on features/epics readiness
- Collaborates with technical leaders and stakeholders on enablers readiness
- Transforms features, epics and enablers into stories in collaboration with the team
- Manages and prioritizes the team backlog
- Facilitates frequent conversations with their teams to resolve questions, manage dependencies, and communicate priorities that emerge as stories are implemented
- Assess the progress of product development at each iteration
- Be involved in Scrum, Sprint reviews, retrospective meetings, and Sprint planning daily
- Act as a primary liaison for the Agile team to address product related questions
- Mitigate roadblocks to achieving sprint/release goals
- Learns about the market and customer needs, connects with the customers
- Understands the ins and outs of the product, IT, cloud infrastructure and other topics related to the product.
- Remain up to date on trends and best practices for agile project management
- Continuously accepts or rejects completed stories and Enablers.
- Verifies that stories are in the proper format, contain valid confirmation (aka acceptance criteria), and are in line with the Program vision and scope
- Meets regularly with Product Management (e.g., PO Sync) to keep stakeholders informed on how much incremental value has been generated
- Conducts the Iteration review with the team and participate in the System Demo to demonstrate the incremental functionality to the Agile Release Train and stakeholders
- Works with the team to decompose stories and Enablers into small increments
Requirements:
- BSc or similar degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar field
- 2+ years of work experience as a Product Owner or similar role
- Excellent English language speaking and writing skills
- Technical background with knowledge of software development and web technologies, experience with data products is a plus
- Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and have high regard for quality
- Emotional intelligence and excellent communication skills
- Familiarity with Scaled Agile (SAFe) is a plus
- Experience with medical device software or other regulated software environments is good to have
For this position the candidate can be located in either Croatia, Germany or Sweden.
