About this Role: The sales professional will drive awareness and adoption of Glooko’s digital health technology offerings to life science customers for chronic care conditions closing new business opportunities and managing the entire sales cycle. Additionally, this role will work closely with marketing, and product colleagues to effectively present, design, and sell Glooko digital companion and therapeutic solutions. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and manage a customer sales funnel through demand generation efforts targeting life science customers across multiple levels and  functions   (C-suite & commercial teams)
  • Identify, qualify, and source new business opportunities to build Glooko’s pipeline for growth in collaboration with company leadership
  • Identify customer pain points where Glooko Life Sciences can provide solutions
  • Be a product expert and conduct virtual and live demonstrations of the Glooko Life Sciences (GLS) product portfolio with a focus on solutions to address customer pain points and enable therapeutic success for their products    
  • Own the entire sales cycle from prospecting and lead generation through closing 
  •  Build a robust Life Science partner and customer base, positioning Glooko as the ‘go-to’ player in the decentralized clinical trials and digital therapeutics/companions technology space
  • Drive over-plan revenue and customer acquisition performance by identifying customer needs, building business plans, pricing strategies and leading negotiation efforts with identified accounts.
  • Develop annual, 3- and 5-year pipeline opportunities to meet and exceed company revenue goals.
  •  Act as the voice of the customer internally within various departments of Glooko (product development, marketing, customer support, etc.)
  •  Partner with product development on solution-market fit and user feedback
  •  Be an expert on the marketplace, Glooko solutions, and competitive landscape
  •  Work directly with Key Opinion Leaders in the space to build awareness and evidence to accelerate the adoption of Glooko solutions.
  •  Represent the company at industry events, webinars, and trade shows
  •  Take responsibility for special project assignments such as market research studies, new product proposals, areas of competitive concern, etc. 

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher is required
  • 5  years of pharmaceutical experience in sales, marketing, market research or commercial-related function
  • 3 years of sales experience is required
  • 3 years experience in selling software/services in the Life Sciences industry preferred.
  • Extensive relationships and network in the digital health/pharmaceutical industry
  • Expertise in generating proposals and pricing strategies
  • Expertise in negotiating master service agreements and contracts
  • Understand privacy and compliance regulation as it relates to the healthcare and life science industries and oversee customer audits.
  • Strong written, verbal and story-telling skills
  • Ability to sell multiple projects in a fast-paced start-up
  • Willingness to travel 30-50% of the time
  • Self-motivated and well-organized to sell in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to collaborate and motivate broader internal teams to support sales efforts
  • Commitment to the highest levels of customer partnership, advocacy, and responsiveness
  • Experience with and passion for a consultative sales approach
  • Results-driven with emphasis on keeping customer and business commitments
  • Consistently demonstrate the highest level of personal ethical conduct
  • Experience with clinical trial management/sales a plus
