Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive applied research initiatives and develop innovative algorithms in the areas of NLP and GenAI with tangible business applications and results.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI technologies into our products and services.
  • Secure patents and publish research findings in top-tier journals and at leading international conferences.
  • Stay abreast of latest AI trends and maintain state-of-the-art knowledge in machine learning, deep learning, and computational linguistics.
  • Develop prototypes and proof-of-concepts for potential deployment in operational environments.
  • Mentor junior researchers and contribute to the team’s knowledge sharing effort.


  • PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Computational Linguistics, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of research in NLP and GenAI, evidenced by publications, patents, or software releases.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, and familiarity with AI frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  • Experience with machine learning techniques and tools including deep learning, reinforcement learning, and unsupervised learning.
  • Extensive practical experience with curating datasets, training models, running experiments, analyzing post-deployment data, and developing robust metrics to ensure model reliability
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and creativity.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex technical details to a non-technical audience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postdoctoral or industry experience in AI research.
  • Contributions to open-source projects.
  • Experience in developing scalable AI solutions in a cloud computing environment.
  • Experience with LLMs for non conversational use cases
  • Experience with natural language processing for legal applications

The annual gross base salary range for this position is $172.000 to $215,000. Actual compensation for this position may vary and will depend on multiple factors including relevant qualifications, experience, education and geographic location. This position is also eligible for an annual bonus dependent on various factors, including and without limitation, individual and company performance in addition to base salary.
