Summary:

Will design and develop backend solutions for machine learning and data engineering needs. Candidate must be well-versed and comfortable working in multiple aspects of a multi-tiered architecture, including Cloud Based applications and CICD processes. Should be able to show excellent problem-solving skills, self-motivated, highly detail-oriented, context-switching easily, colaborate across time zones, and be a team player.Will work with other engineers and stakeholders across the company to develop innovative solutions that meet key initiatives with respect to functionality, performance, scalability, reliability, realistic implementation schedules, and adherence to development goals and principles. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

Design and Development:

  • Develop and maintain scalable and efficient machine learning (ML) models and data engineering (DE) pipelines.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and AI engineers to implement ML solutions.
  • Optimize and refactor code for performance and scalability.

Data Analysis & Management:

  • Build and maintain data pipelines to support ML models and analytics.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across the pipeline.
  • Integrate data from various data stores and kinds (SQL, document, vector, graph)
  • Implement data analytics to be incorporated in reporting and dashboards

 Model Training and Deployment:

  • Train, test, and validate ML models to ensure high performance.
  • Deploy models to production environments and monitor their performance.
  • Use of version control, unit testing and CI/CD practices of ML models.
  • Experience with MLOps practices

 Collaboration and Support:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including data scientists, data analysts, and product managers.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.

 Documentation and Reporting:

  • Document processes, methodologies, and workflows.
  • Generate reports and dashboards to communicate project progress and outcomes.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Required Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

5+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on ML and DE.

 Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency inPython and SQL
  • Experience with ML frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
  • Strong understanding of data engineering tools and platforms.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
  • Familiarity with database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

 Analytical Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with complex datasets.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data to drive decision-making.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

Advanced Education:

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or hard sciences.

Industry Experience:

Previous experience in healthcare supply chain.
