Job Summary:

The Process Automation Project manager will be based in India, within the GHX Global Innovation Hub supporting US Eastern hours and report to the Director - Automation & Scalability and will play a crucial role in supporting the Sr. Process Automation Product Manager in driving the automation program. This role is a blend of an automation business analyst and implementation manager, focused on delivering robust automation solutions, driving operational change, and optimizing business processes through automation.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business process owners and subject matter experts to identify and assess opportunities for process automation.
  • Evaluate business processes for automation potential, identifying existing problems and opportunities.
  • Select appropriate automation technology capabilities for each use case, deciding between building or buying solutions.
  • Develop project charters and business cases for identified automation opportunities.
  • Document business requirements, process definitions, and designs in detailed business requirements documents.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for automation projects, including process diagrams, project charters, status updates, and deliverables.
  • Manage multiple automation projects simultaneously at various stages of their lifecycle.
  • Develop business process diagrams and maps to understand and improve workflows.
  • Work autonomously to drive project execution with minimal supervision.

  Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in project management.
  • 8+ years of experience in automation, including AI, IPA, workflow, and BI automation platforms and tools.
  • Proficiency in low-code or citizen development platforms such as Power Automate or similar tools.
  • Familiarity with Aha!, Jira, or similar project and product management systems.
  • Agile working experience is a plus.
  • MBA/Engineering Degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Strong communication, project management, and analytical skills.
  • Previous experience working for US based companies in a support role within a process automation environment.
  • Knowledge of global automation program structures and process optimization practices.

  • Passionate about automation and continuous learning.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to innovate and simplify processes.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a complex, matrixed organization.
  • Demonstrates thought leadership with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Certifications like CBPP, CBIP, PMP, CSM, Data science is a plus.
