• GENERAL SUMMARY: 
  • At GHX we work to solve deep technical problems that improve the world of healthcare. These problems span a variety of core topics in computer science ranging from databases to distributed systems.   
  • Responsibilities include building automated solutions that manage Enterprise Master Data, enable our Operations team to work more efficiently and to make that data available to downstream consumers.  The candidate will manage a team of engineers in Hyderabad India and work closely with the US team to coordinate work and design solutions.  The technology stack includes Ataccama (Master Data Mgmt), Viamedicci (Product Information Mgmt), AWS (Lambda, SNS, SQS), Snowflake, Excel, Postgres, and Python.
    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES  
  • The candidate will lead the offshore EDM team responsible for delivering end-to-end business solutions for internal GHX teams and will have responsibility for leading the design, development, deployment, and support of these solutions in their role with their teammates. 
  • Candidate will be required to interface daily with US based management, stakeholders and Architects in addition to coordinating and managing their teams’ deliverables.   
  • Must be able to work productively, efficiently, collaboratively, and maintain a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment of end users, business analysts, business community and development peers in providing analytical solutions for our internal customers. 
  • Therefore, a demonstrated ability to communicate efficiently and successfully is very important, both written and verbally. Interpersonal and communication skills which allows the candidate to work well in not only a team environment but also with our end users, developers, database administrators, software configuration management engineers, business analysts, product managers, and project managers. 
  • Must be able to conform to standard design, deployment, and testing methodologies in an Agile development environment including product requirements document reviews, software functional specifications documentation and asset control. 
  • The candidate must have the ability to assume significant responsibility and execute collaboratively on projects with the EDM team.   
  • The candidate must be able to work from the Hyderabad office. 
  • The candidate must be able to work a time shifted schedule in order to meet with US based employees. 

KEY DUTIES

  • Manage a team with respect and compassion while delivering results that align to quarterly goals and timelines. 
  • Analyze business requirements and collaborate with teammates to groom system requirements documentation and track those requirements thru to delivery  
  • Gather business requirements from your customers, convert those requirements to solid technical designs  
  • Deliver accurate and complete status to program management as well as management within their reporting structure.

  • KEY COMPETENCIES  
  • Excellent communications skills.  The willingness to initiate meetings and engage others is extremely important. The ability to decipher and decode business requirements to formulate answers and satisfy needs in a dynamic business environment is imperative logically and efficiently.    
  • Must be able to successfully design and deploy solutions that may require data from disparate source systems, align to architectural direction and deliver real value to stakeholder across GHX. 
  • REQUIRED EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Statistics or equivalent professional  
  • 10+ years' experience developing business solutions. 
  • Significant experience in ETL development and database modeling, tuning, advanced SQL programming, API’s and AWS. 
  • Proven analytic skills. 
  • Technical writing experience. 
  • Experience with standard SDLC development, testing, and deployment methodologies.   
  • 10+ years' experience handling large data sets and relational . 
  • High-level written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Ability to design end to end soltuons. 
  • Ability manage developers in their career development as well as their daily tasks. 
  • An analytical mind and inclination for problem-solving 
  • Attention to detail 
  • Can motivate a team to be their very best and contribute their knowledge while maintaining a reputation of humble leadership. 
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 
  • Snowflake, Postgres, AWS, API first design. 
  • MDM & PIM understanding of best practices. 
  • Jira experience in a Scrum and/or Kanban environment 
  • Restful services/Json 
  • KEY DIFFERENTIATORS  
  • Proven track record of managing development teams. 
  • Hands on MDM and/or PIM experience. 
  • AWS (SNS,SQS,lambda) experience. 
  • Ability to quickly grasp business requirements and design solutions. 
  • Ability to change direction gracefully and adapt to new information. 
  • Proven track record of modeling teams that delivery high quality solutions with high velocity
