As the Product Operations Lead, you will be responsible for developing and leading a high-functioning Product Operations team to ensure the seamless planning, execution, and enablement of our enterprise-focused SaaS offerings. Serving as the strategic gatekeeper for product feedback, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional partners and executive leadership to align product initiatives with the needs of our large enterprise customers. This role requires a visionary leader who can balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.

Given Glean’s prominent position in Enterprise AI, we expect you to think AI-first and leverage Glean and AI Agents maximally to run product operations in an AI-first way.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Coordination and Communication with GTM:

 

  • Facilitate alignment between product development and Go-To-Market teams to ensure smooth product releases and coordinated market strategies.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for GTM stakeholders, ensuring all teams are well-informed about product timelines and updates.

 

Enablement on New Product Features:

 

  • Ensure teams are equipped to understand and utilize new features effectively.
  • Collaborate with product managers and data analysts to develop dashboards and metrics that track product adoption and performance.

 

Product Roadmap Enablement:

 

  • Assist in creating and maintaining product health dashboards covering product adoption, defect trends, and other relevant metrics.
  • Partner with engineering and client services for cross-team coordination and release planning.

 

Communications with R&D Org:

 

  • Serve as a liaison between product management and R&D teams to keep communication clear and streamlined.
  • Drive continuous improvements within the product development process.

 

OKR Planning:

 

  • Lead OKR planning sessions to align product goals with company-wide objectives.
  • Monitor and report progress on key results to ensure alignment and accountability.

 

Helping with Presentations and Panel Prep:

 

  • Provide support in preparing presentations and materials for executive and panel discussions.
  • Compile competitive landscape analysis and pricing insights where needed.

 

Competitive Landscape (Nice-to-Have):

 

  • Maintain knowledge of competitive products and market trends to inform strategic decisions.
  • Conduct periodic analysis to identify opportunities for differentiation.

 

Pricing (Nice-to-Have):

 

  • Collaborate with the finance team and product managers to support pricing strategies.
  • Monitor and analyze market pricing trends to advise on best practices and adjustments.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
  • Proven experience in product operations or a related role.
  • Strong communication skills, particularly in facilitating cross-functional collaborations.
  • Proficiency with project management tools and Agile methodologies.
  • Analytical abilities to evaluate data and make informed decisions.
  • Technical understanding of product development processes.
  • Experience in customer operations and network operations environments is a plus.
  • Emotional intelligence to lead and motivate teams effectively, fostering a collaborative work environment.

    • Ability to identify operational gaps and implement scalable solutions.
  • Product Sense
    • Deep understanding of product development cycles.
    • Experience working closely with product managers, engineers, and customer-facing teams.
    • Ability to translate technical concepts into actionable strategies for diverse audiences.
  • Data-Driven Decision-Making
    • Proficiency in analyzing data to derive insights (e.g., SQL or other data analysis tools).
    • Familiarity with A/B testing, user feedback analysis, and NPS scoring.
    • Ability to synthesize competitive landscape insights to inform strategy.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Exceptional communication skills tailored to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Proven ability to collaborate across departments (e.g., R&D, GTM, Sales).
    • Skilled at creating clear, compelling presentations for leadership and external panels.
