What you’ll be doing:
- Responsible for ensuring that revenue is recognized accurately and in accordance with accounting standards. This involves reviewing contracts and other documents to determine the appropriate timing and amount of revenue recognition
- Must have experience in Balance sheet reconciliation, Balance sheet review, unbilled revenue, invoicing, knowledge of GST
- Collaborate with other departments such as billing, credit and business finance to ensure that revenue recognition practices align with business objectives and contractual agreements
- Identify and resolve revenue-related issues and discrepancies, and implement process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency
- Compiling, analyzing, and reporting revenue & other financial information to management on monthly basis
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes
- Manage various audit support e.g. Integral, external, etc.
- Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to invoices and payments
- Follow up with management for proper approvals for invoice payments
- Assist with accurate cut off of payables and tracking of accruals for month-end close
- Stays updated of regulatory requirements and best practices in accounting
What you need to succeed:
- 3+ years of experience in Revenue/controllership function or similar
- Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Dynamic
- In-depth knowledge of AR principles, accounting standards, and industry regulations
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Great time management and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and able to consistently and timely produce quality & accurate work
- Excellent collaboration and communication abilities
