Glance Lock Screen: Glance is one of Asia’s largest lock screen platforms. It enables consumers to experience the internet on the lock screens of their smart phones. Glance Collective: Glance Collective co-creates and operates multiple unique brands in partnership with some of India’s biggest digital creators and celebrities. It was created as a joint venture company between Glance and Collective Artists Network in July 2021 and launched its first brand – EK – with Ekta Kapoor in November 2021. The entity generates scope for creators to earn revenue through part ownership of the brands and gives them access to global markets, through Glance and Roposo’s combined worldwide user base.  

Shop101: Shop101 is a full stack e-commerce platform which provides Glance and Roposo end-to-end commerce capabilities. It was acquired in June 2021 by Glance for its market-leading e-commerce technology platform, comprehensive supply chain infrastructure and talent base.

What will you be doing?

As the Business Development Manager, India you will be responsible for identifying, closing and maintaining relationships with the Top Brands from India. In this role, the person would be responsible for acquiring Brands for Commerce. This is a field sales role and the person is expected to be on the field/Zoom calls acquiring Brands. The candidate would also be responsible to identify and onboard support partners to facilitate new brand acquisition and going live process like imaging/cataloguing/training/commercial discussion etc. This is largely an Individual Contributor’s role.

You’re a hunter who loves closing deals. You are passionate about E-Commerce & Brands and creating long lasting partnerships with Brands

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Initiate, structure and negotiate high impact partnerships with Brands across the region
  • Build, prioritize, manage and communicate an active pipeline of Brands
  • Create and grow revenue through your own book of business
  • Collaborate with internal teams to launch new Brands
  • Collate and interpret Brands feedback to facilitate improved products
  • Work with the Category Team 

Skills required

  • 3+ years of Business Development experience within the E-Commerce space
  • Desire to work directly with Brands across all the Categories
  • Experience selling Brand solutions in an E-Commerce  environment
  • Hunter mentality; able to drive toward revenue goals
